Your Yeast Infection Loves Sugar

Yeast infections absolutely love sugar, or any refined carbohydrate. It is its main source of food when its feeding in your intestines. So if you're struggling to treat your infection, then you need to eliminate all sugar from your diet so you no longer feed the yeast beast.

A lot of the sugar in your diet is obvious such as sweets, cakes and biscuits. But you should also limit the amount of complex carbs you eat as these can turn to sugar when they are digested.

Fruit will also need to be eliminated at first, in saying that, some fruits do have less sugar than others - blackberries, strawberries and apples are the lower end of the scale.

Fresh vegetable juice is good for you and high in nutrition. Go for any food source with strong anti-fungal properties such as garlic, ginger, and lemon.

So you probably want to know now how you find out if you're suffering from fungal overgrowth in your intestines? Well, have you been constipated or experiencing diarrhea? Fungal infections of the nails and/or athletes foot are a sing of Candida activity in the intestines.

All the medical profession can do is put you on anti fungal drugs, and in the end they make an intestinal yeast infection worse.

Avoiding any drugs such as antibiotics or steroids will help you eliminate fungus from your body, as they will only perpetuate the Candida overgrowth. Whatever you do, don't stop taking these drugs because you have found out they contribute to your yeast problem, but consult your doctor to discuss how you may be able to reduce your intake gradually.

Your physical and mental health will improve massively when you eliminate the yeast from your intestines. It is possible to do even if your doctor has lead you to believe you've got to live with it forever. Once you fully learn all the things that have caused your fungal overgrowth you'll be able to prevent any further infections from happening. You'll learn why over -the-counter anti fungal creams only treat the symptoms, and have no effect on the cause of Candida overgrowth.
